A Well for the Brauhardt Clinic in Durba

In 2019, Veronika Baumeister decided to organise a private bazaar in favour of Congo Social Care in our old carpentry workshop. Of course, during Advent to offer self-made things, jams, biscuits etc. for this special time.

The success was so huge that the decision to repeat it, matured quickly. But in 2020, Corona made change plans.

In 2021, so many ideas for handicrafts and decoration came up that the time was ripe again. Our living rooms were filled with all kinds of things over the year: sewing, pottery, painting, and later baking and bottling jams. Many friends also got involved and helped to organise the bazaar.

At noon on the 2nd Sunday of Advent 2021, many acquaintances arrived. They brought their children with them; it was like a "family party". Of course, all visitors observed the valid Corona regulations. The time passed surprisingly quickly. The visitors found "their" Christmas presents, tried cakes, had soups and drinks.

The willingness to round up generously when paying the bill and to make additional donations surprised us very much and made us extremely happy for the well project.

We thank all helpers and donors and are happy to be able to contribute to the KSC project "A well for the Brauhardt Clinic in Durba".
