Private Advent bazaar in Krefeld...

...a corresponding poster was posted on Facebook in November 2019. Veronika and Gregor Baumeister invited on the 2nd Sunday of Advent 2019 to an Advent bazaar taking place in their four walls. In the preparation for this bazaar, which was organised for the first time, neighbours and friends were at their side, as well as their siblings, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. With a lot of creativity and many helping hands, a range of Christmas accessories and gifts worth seeing were created in several hours. But that's not all. For looking after the physical well-being of visitors drinks and some sweet and hearty delicacies were provided.

At the end of this special day at Baumeister, an amount of 950,00 euros was handed over to the Kongo Social-Care e. V. association from both, sales and donations.

But there was not only great joy about this. The "reward" of the day for all participants was also the many good conversations and the concluding experience that this small private Advent market had become a place of encounter and that its preparation and realization had been a lot of fun and joy for everyone.

We especially thank the organisers and all their helpers very much for their great idea to support the projects in the Congo, and we are happy with them about the popularity of the Advent Bazaar.
