Presentation of the certificate of honour to Dr. Lars Stank
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!
Dear friends of the Congo Social Care Association,
At our last general meeting it was unanimously agreed that a certificate of honour should be bestowed upon Dr. Lars Stank for his great contribution to the Congo Social Care Association.
Lars has been supporting the association's projects for several years, through so-called “Congo parties”. These fundraising parties take place every year and thanks to the active support of Lars' school friends. Lars asks his guests to make financial contributions to our association in lieu of presents. These generous donations from his circle of friends means that Lars must be thanked for his valuable contribution to our association. Many of our projects including the clinic in Durba, Ingo Dammer Health Centre in Avokala or our new project St. Barbara Clinic in Kinshasa would have continued without such a financial contribution.
Lars has now been honoured by our board for his long-standing contribution.
On 07.01.2023, Chairman Dr. Dr. Jean-Bertrand Madragule Badi, along with secretary Thomas Schoppa, awarded a certificate of honour to Lars. The presentation took place in the presence of Lars' friends who, as guests and helpers at the “Congo Parties”, also made a great contribution to the generous donations to the Congo Social-Care e.V. association. Father Badi and Thomas Schoppa were warmly welcomed in the clubhouse of the local tennis club TC Sterkrade 1869 e.V., of which Lars has been a member since childhood. The award was made to Lars following a small snack in the form of coffee or tea and sandwiches.
People with a great enthusiasm for social projects continue to help us, the Congo Social-Care e.V to carry out further projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and to ensure that tangible results are obtained in that part of the world.
We are grateful for Lars' great contribution, but also for the support of all our members and friends of the Congo Social-Care e.V. We hope to be able to continue placing reliance on your financial support, which makes significant difference to the lives of countless people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
